What’s for dinner tonight? I don’t know about you,but when its cold outside, I love to make a big pot of chili for my family. Yesterday, Atlanta was hit with the worst winter storm in years! I’m sure you have heard about how horrific conditions have been on the news. My eldest son ended up being trapped on the freeway for over 9 hours! Anyway, with the whole family being trapped in the house, what better meal to make than chili. I hope you enjoy the recipe. Comment and let me know your thoughts after you have made it. Simple Turkey Chili Recipe


2 pounds of Ground Turkey (I use Ground White Turkey)
1 27oz can of Bush Chili Beans
1 15oz can of Organic Northern Beans
1 15oz can of Black Beans
2 15oz can of Kidney Beans
2 15oz can of Organic Tri Color Beans
1 15oz can of No Salt Added Diced Tomato or 2 cups of Salsa
1 Fresh Jalapino diced
1 Onion
2 Stalks of Celery (Cleaned)
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Bell Pepper
2 packs of Mrs. Dash Chili Seasoning
1 tsp of Ancho Chili Pepper
1 tsp of Chipotle Chili Powder
1 tsp of Cumin
1 tsp of Mrs. Dash Original Blend Seasoning
1 tsp of Black Pepper
1 tsp of Garlic Powder
1 tsp of Onion Powder
18 Quart Pot


Dice up jalapino,onion,celery & garlic, place in bowl & set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in 18 quart pot. Add diced jalapino,onion,celery & garlic to pot & cook for 2 minutes. Add ground turkey & seasonings(minus Mrs. Dash Chili Seasonings) & cook for around 7 minutes. Add all canned beans & diced tomato to pot. Add 2 packs of Mrs. Dash Chili Seasonings, stir. Add lid & bring chili to a nice simmer for 10 minutes.

This step is optional, but if you have time, I recommend transferring into a crock pot & cooking on low for minimum of 3 hours.

Serve alone or over steamed brown rice!
